/ In 2004 a group of 26 American and English volunteers spent four months living on the wilderness coast of Maine under circumstances that replicated that of 17th Century colonists in the area. The section entitled 1628 Across the Continent gives a well-rounded overview of the state of European settlement in North America and the West Indies during that year.

This site focuses on the ancient sport practiced by the Aztecs, Maya, and other Mesoamerican civilizations. In the process it provides a broad exposure to the diversity of cultures present in the region from 1500 B.C. to 1517 A.D.
Digital History [6-12]
When entering the Digital History Web site students must be prepared to be immersed in American History. This is a staggering collection of information, images, and multimedia resources, and even includes a 400 page online textbook. Example of topics include The World before 1492, The Puritans, The Alamo, Indian Removal, Children of the Civil Warm and the Japanese Internment. There are 35 of these units currently available or under development.
